SGS Automotive Services has extensive experience in designing and operating a wide range of advanced vehicle inspection programs and associated services, for both large and small vehicle populations. We have designed and implemented successful programs for countries on four continents. Each programme is a tailor-made product of SGS’ combined international expertise and profound knowledge of the local market conditions and individual market characteristics, demand and requirements.

Within the scope of SGS' experience in the global vehicle inspection business, we have gained major credit for our vehicle inspection network management performance, involving the complete modernisation (facilities, equipment and personnel), privatisation of inspection programs and related activities, traditionally/formally operated by public authorities.

The design of an efficient VIS operation requires an in-depth knowledge of the local environment, i.e.

Once this knowledge is available, a program design can be developed based on experience acquired and then adapted to local specific requirements. SGS Automotive Services currently manages and operates VIS operations on four continents.
